thank you for supporting our ministry in Argentina. Because of your support we enjoy the privilege of seeing the harvest brought in. More people have found Christ as savior in the tent crusade in Bell Ville. Our whole family spent a weekend of ministry there in April. The children were thrilled to be involved in evangelism.
Earl Hassler of Waukegan, Illinois, came again to do carpentry work at the Bible School. He has also donated funds for the future expansion of the project. Many improvements can be seen on campus because of his generous giving. All the students really appreciate his example of joyful service to the Lord. It was fun for our kids to have 'Grandpa Earl' stay in our home again.
Easter weekend was spent traveling 1,500 kilometers south to Trelew, Argentina, where I taught two classes to the students of the new Bible School there. Missionaries Martin and Charlotte Jacobsen are pioneering that new endeavor. The Jacobsens showed me a small farm with many apple trees and a running stream which they hope to purchase as a permanent location for the Bible School. We are praying with them that they will be able to obtain this choice piece of property. Our Bible School has decided to send them an offering toward the initial purchase. We also plan to send a group of men from the churches in Cordoba to help with construction.
God is preparing a wonderful army of workers in our Bible Schools that will soon be laboring in the fields that are white for harvest. We currently have 47 students enrolled from 11 provinces and Chile in the Cordoba Bible School. There are 20 students from the Southern Provinces preparing for Christian service in Trelew. It is truly exciting to be a part of their spiritual formation. Pray with us that these Bible Schools will be centers of revival and missionary zeal as well as academic excellence.
