Kwa'a sini Indian Ministries... April, 1996

As you know, we are missionaries to Native Americans, but many times we as Christians get so locked in on one thing that we forget the rest of the world. The Great Commission is to all people, and God has opened us a door to minister to many people groups. We know that if God opens a door we had better go through that door, and He has opened the way for us to minister to our Spanish brothers and sisters in the US. and in Mexico.

When we first began to go into Mexico it was much easier. We were able our drive our truck with all of our equipment right through the border. The last few years it has been much more difficult.

Forgotten People... But not by God

Each year at the end of the year we go to Mexico and every year we say we are not going again. Our excuses are... It's too hard, It's uncomfortable, it's too much work, we're too tired. Many people are like that. But we have found out that the blessings outweigh the excuses. We have to say, "God I'm sorry for complaining, look what we would have missed if we had not gone." We have to look beyond our feelings to see what other people feel. Many people that work for God here at home and in other countries suf fer for what they do. They are forgotten... But not by God... Here are two letters that were sent to us from Mexico. What if we had not gone? What if we had just set here on our excuses? They would not have benefited by what God had given to us. Who may have lost out because of your excuses? We need to get to the place where we see and feel what God does. If we would do that there would be no excuses and there would be no Forgotten People...

Ensenada, Mexico B.C., December 18,1995

Dear Sister Martha & Jan Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I am writing this letter in appreciation of the special work and many blessings you brought to our congregation December 1-3, 1995. It was a great joy to see the church completely filled with chiidren and young people, but above all to see them touched by the Holy Spirit.

There was a special work left in the hearts of the children. Many clildren have continued attending the church since the revival. Many young people have changed their behavior, now in the congregation they raise their hands in prayer when the worship service is going on and have become faithful in attendance at church. Sisters, the sacrifice and labor on your part to achieve this childrens ministry is bearing fruit. Personally God has moved me to work more with the children and apply more discipline without fear. Your delivery and personal life was a personal example for me. May God strengthen and pros per this ministry that you do so beautifully.

Love
Pastor Maria Elena De Alba Leal

The following letter is from Vicky, a professional woman who has a radio program in Ensenada, Mexico. She did not even attend this church, but came just because she heard of our crusade, volunteered to help and... well, you read the rest.

December 1995

Precious Sisters,

I greet vou in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I want to thank the Lord for the visit and service of love that was achieved in our city of Ensenada Dec. 1 3, 1995.

Thank you for allowing us to assist in this beautiful ministry with the children, which is so needed to know the Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

I must tell you that the Lord blessed us in a special way. I have also worked with children for several years, using puppets. When you came I was tired and frustrated because some of my helpers had left. I was discouraged and begin ning to think I couldn't go on with what I had, but as you ministered to the children the Lord spoke to me through the Holy Spirit and showed me, I was not alone. It was not through my strength, but through His strength I could go on. And He gave me the victory.

You both were such an inspiration and I thank the Lord for sending you our way. Your ministry, dedication, example and love was so inspiring. May the Lord prosper you in everything and supply your needs. He does not ignore your labor of love. I encourage you to continue in His work. Joshua 1:9

"Jesus loves the little children,
All the children of the world,
Red and yellow, black and white,
They are precious in His sight.
Jesus loves the little children
of the world "

It's True!

For many years we have heard the statistics that over 80%
of all people who are ever saved are saved by the time they are

12 Years Old.

Why that's just a child! God has given us a burden for the children.
We're doing our best to reach them!

And I'm afraid that sometimes we as adults forget.
At least, it seems like we do.We get so busy...
Seeking the best teachers for grown ups...
Trying to do something to keep the teen agers...
And forget the children.
After all, they don't bring in much in the way of finances.
They don't have a vote. We get irritated when they
misbehave or cry out for attention. Yet...
They are growing up.
And..maybe without Jesus...
What is their destiny?
Children are lost, hurting, seeking to find their way..THE WAY.
